October 11: Commonwealth Vocational University awarded for Digital Education , Founder Member Rakesh Mittal of Commonwealth Vocational University was awarded for Digital Education at the hands of Union Minister Hon. Nitin Gadkari with Pride of Maharashtra award organized by Pune Times Mirror.

About Commonwealth Vocational University: Rakesh Mittal is one of the founders of Commonwealth Vocational University, Kingdom of Tonga. Rakesh Mittal has been in the education sector since 2003.

The Commonwealth Vocational University was registered in 2014. Dr. Keasi Motuhifonua and Dr. Foueti Motuhifonua are residents of the Kingdom of Tonga. They had been in India for a long time for their studies. They had done their PhD at Pune University.

Dr. Aftab Anwar Shaikh, Principal of Poona College of Arts, Science and Commerce, was the pioneer in the idea generation for Commonwealth Vocational University.
He advised Dr. Keasi and Dr. Foueti to establish a University to cater for the needs of students in the Kingdom of Tonga. Dr. Keasi and Dr. Foueti submitted the proposal in 2012 to the government of the Kingdom of Tonga. The same was accepted and registered in 2014. The campus was built in Makaunga and was inaugurated at the hands of the then Education Minister, Penisimani Fifita. The University focuses on online as well as offline courses mainly related to management and entrepreneurship.

The Kingdom of Tonga has over 170 islands and is close to Fiji. Flights from Fiji, New Zealand and Australia arrive and depart from the Kingdom of Tonga. Rakesh Mittal has travelled extensively to the Kingdom of Tonga for the development of the University.

The University offers at its campus in Tonga BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA and DBA courses It also offers PhD by Publication as well as a regular PhD. The University can make arrangements for those wishing to travel and study in the Kingdom of Tonga. Through online mode, University offers an MBA and DBA (Doctor of Business Administration). These two courses are specifically designed for working professionals across the globe.

The conference aims to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas on the latest business innovation developments in the field of law, commerce, economics, management, engineering, technology, different areas of social sciences and environment among researchers and practitioners in universities and industries and to seek opportunities for collaboration among the participants.

We invite papers from Academicians, Researchers, Business Leaders, Experts and Executives from industry to submit original and unpublished work on any of the above mention themes. However the areas are indicative. The researchers can submit the paper relevant to the conference. Authors should electronically submit full length paper in MS word, maximum 8 -10 pages (Single columns, Times New Roman font size 12 with 1″ margin on all four side) to email: waimsjournal@gmail.com only. The first page of the paper must contain the title, names of the author / co-authors, email address and contact details

All papers of this conference will also be reviewed jointly by the Conference review panel and respective Journal reviewing teams. All the selected authors will be offered for publication in our associated journal having Impact Factor 7+ Few selected papers will be published in SCOPUS, ABDC, Web of Science and UGC CARE listed journals. The 2020 Accredited Best 70 Law Firms in Uganda East Africa

0n 7th August 2020, Public Opinions and Asia Africa Development Council (ADCO) recognized and accredited the Best 70 Law Firms in Uganda with the Certificate of Accreditation. The Best 70 firms were ranked following a countrywide survey conducted by Public Opinions from August 2019 to June 2020.The profile of the Firms have been published in the 2020 Uganda TOP70 Law Firms Book of Records.

The Uganda TOP70 Law Firms Book of Records is available for sale at the Offices of Public Opinions on 5th Floor, Room 7, Impala House, Opposite City Hall KCCA, Kimathi Avenue.The Books will be distributed to members of Parliament, Leading Chief Executives in Uganda, Ministers of the Cabinet of the Government of Uganda, Diplomatic Missions, Heads of Government Agencies in Uganda,etc.

We are promoting responsible investment in the legal Fraternity. Provision of Legal services is a profession and an Investment. We are promoting reputation, quality services and integrity in the legal profession in Uganda and in Africa a large- Prof Ripu Ranjan Sinha the Director General of Asia Africa Development Council India stated.

There are over 700 Law Firms in Uganda but not all Law Firms in Uganda are committed towards attainment of Uganda Vision 2040 and the United Nations Sustainable Development. Not all law firms respect the rights of workers especially the Female workers, not all Law firms support productive corporate Social Responsibility (PROBONO), Not all Law Firms in Uganda are loyal to the clients- we have recognized the best 70 law Firms in Uganda, Luzindana Adam Buyinza Team Leader of Public Opinions stated in an Interview with us.

Public Opinions recently declared H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni President of the Republic of Uganda with the Uganda Peace and Development Champion Award at a colorful High Level ceremony held on 22nd November 2019 at Imperial Royale Hotel presided over by H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni President of Uganda and he dedicated his award to the NRA Freedom Fighters and appreciated Public Opinions for its work.
